Ohio redshirt freshman safety Javon Hagan (Jacksonville, Fla.) led with nine tackles including seven solo hits in a 30-24 win over Bowling Green last Saturday. Hagan also had an interception while also forcing his fourth fumble of the year. He also had a tackle for four yards lost. Hagan is third in the NCAA and leads the MAC in forced fumbles and ranks second in the MAC in interceptions.

I understand this young man is having a ball. He is getting it done in the classroom and on the field. I here he also joined the same fraternity as the president of Ohio University. Well deserved Hagan, keep up the good work.

This guy is going to be a real player.

Unfortunately in the article about this story, the official Ohio athletic site calls him a redshirt senior. Man, is anybody watching what they put out? Careless journalism.

Him and Maleek are my favorite bobcats right now. I feel he is the new verison of Mike Mitchell.

Maleek is really looking good. He had some very nice runs against BG. I'm impressed at how much better he looks than last year. He is going to be something special.

Those are two very good safeties. I liken him to Cade and Mitchell.
