This weekend seven more teams became bowl eligible, so there are now 13 total: USF, Houston, Clemson, Baylor, Mich, O$U, Neb, WMU, Boise, Wash, Utah, TxAM, Bama

18 teams have five wins and need only one win for eligibility: Memphis, Wake, L'ville, FSU, UNC, Pitt, WVU, Iowa, Toledo, CMU, EMU, SDSU, AZSt, Colo, FL, Tenn, Ark, Troy

33 teams have four wins and need just two wins for eligibility: Navy, Tulsa, Temps, NCSt, VaTech,, MiamiF,GaTech, Okla St, TCU, Okla, PSU, MD, Minn, Wis, MTSU, ODU, SMiss, WKU, LaTech, BYU, OHIO, Akron, BSU, Wyoming, AFA, Wash St, Stanford, USC, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, App St, Idaho.

19 other teams need to win half or fewer of their remaining games to be eligible: UCF, Cincy, Tulane, BC, KState, TxTech, Tex, Ind, Purdue, NWern, NTex, UTSA, Army*, NM, Cal, Kentucky, Miss, GaSouth, SBama.

So 83 teams are either eligible or need to win half or fewer of their remaining games to be eligible for one of the 80 bowl slots.

Teamrankings is now adding up to a little less than 77 eligible teams which is close to one team fewer than last week.

To be bowl eligible, we are likely going to have to beat both Kent and Buffalo, which sounds doable, until you remember that we have only beaten Kent and Buffalo in the same season once since 2006.

5-7 looking more likely than 7-5 to me....
