After we played a competitive game against the Vols, our certified pigskin analyst declared that UT wasn't very good and would not do to well this season against top teams in the SEC. I'm curious what others think about Tennessee after their victories over Florida and Georgia.

Good but not as good as Louisville or Cemson. And wow was that some super QB play? And a great game? I would like to see Windham run more and pass better:)

The Vols are starting to show signs of being legitimate this year. Scrappy, come from behind victories are beginning to feel like 1998--the last national championship.

Tennessee is a boxing prospect rising up the ranks the way they scheduled this year. Tested by journeyman programs vs. Appalachian State and Ohio. Contests against ranked programs in Florida and Georgia. Stepping up in class the next two weeks against undefeated prospects in Texas A&M and Alabama to show if they are ready for a title bout. My guess is probably not but on track to win 10 games this year.

Ohio has held Tennessee to its lowest second half point total to date this season -- 14 points (17 vs App. St, 21 vs. VT, 35 vs. Fla., 27 vs. UGA)

I think they're Alabama's pinata.

Tennessee is way better than any of us thought at the time. Not many teams are hanging with 'Bama this season.
