This one got past me, but yep, the MAC now plays in the Dollar General Bowl. DG took over the GoDaddy, fka GMAC Bowl. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2016/08/dollar_general...

Somehow, it seems rather fitting, given the MAC's OOC performance this year.

This bowl keeps sliding on the sponsor food chain. What's next? Checksmart? Payless Shoes?

Kind of appropriate that a discount store is sponsoring a discount bowl game.

With Aldis sponsoring, do we have to bring our own footballs?

Yes, and if you buy a drink at the concession stands, you have to give them a quarter for the cup but you get it back if you return the cup once finished.

Speaking of Aldi's.......was anyone else surprised to learn that they own Trader Joe's?

Speaking of bowl games.....USA Today likes us against Arizona State in the Cactus Bowl...

As Trump would say, there is a reason USA Today is going out of business

Well, at least you wouldn't have to dress up as nice to attend like you would at the Wal Mart bowl.

Woolworth-Woolco Bowl, now that dates me since some on here have probably never heard of either.

I remember both, although I though Woolco was damn dumbest name ever for a department store.

Next up might be the Flex Seal Handyman in a Can Bowl.

Nothing surprises me any more for bowl names. The sponsors are pretty crazy, too.

Is Battlefrog the title sponsor for the Fiesta Bowl again this year? Reminded me of a Nintendo game from the early 90s (I think that was called Battle Toads but close enough).

There was actually once a Salad Bowl. No, I'm not making this up.

And, the Redchickens once played in it:
