Also of related interest is Okie State's victory over undefeated WVU. CMU earlier in the season upset OSU-Southern Campus.

Maybe the difference in talent between the East and West divisions isn't as great as I thought, though I still think Western Michigan is far and away the best team. Even after Ohio beat Toledo, I thought Central Michigan would be favored against the Bobcats by a touchdown or so, but now I'm not so sure. My mind might change again by the time that game comes around.

Its been clear since CMU was smashed by WMU that Ohio would have at least a chance up in Mt. Pleasant. Losses to Toledo and Kent State have further validated it. Ohio could be favored by 3 in Mt. Pleasant with a win on Thursday.

watched much of this game. Atmosphere on game day up there is much different than years past. Beautiful day, sparse crowd and lame band. Sorry to see that.

This league can't draw. Quality of football is improved, not bad at all, but other than that its the minor leagues. Hate to say it but it's true.

Toledo, Western and Ohio only three teams getting legit crowds this season. Some others reporting decent paid attendance, but I think greatly exaggerated.
