73 yard pass to Papi, things are changing. Solich gave a post game interview saying we needed to improve our pass defense and tackling and accuracy. He is not settling, if he keeps this up we will get our MAC championship, celebrate a day and elevate the rest of the week. Go Cats

First game of the year for my 2 elementary school grandsons and my hs senior grandaughter...we were standing as we were a tad late....and the ball was just released.... the looks on their faces were priceless.

Because Buffalo has the best pass defense and the worst rushing defense in the MAC, everyone expected Ohio to run it. The pass came off play-action and everybody from UB bit on it. Great to see them do something unexpected.

On Sports Center's Top 10 plays, that was #2 - and it appeared that the UB defender was covering closely. It took an extremely athletic Papi move to succeed.

We've tried that play three times as the first play from scrimmage. Nice to see it connect.

Which any middle school coach would, let alone a college coach. Which then begs the question....what do we open with next game - e.g., pay action, but flood a screen pass to the other side.

Anytime you get the other team thinking - you have the advantage.
