BGSU giving Akron all they can handle so far(14-10) near the end of the first half. Toledo in trouble at NIU (in Chicago) 14-3. Toledo with 133 yards of offense late in the first half. The Toledo-WMU game may not decide the west winner

As a native Toledoan, at some point you would think Toledo could finally beat NIU.....this is getting painful to watch every year.

Akron just lost their chance at the MAC East title.

We now have 4 chances to take the MAC East title
Any Ohio win in our next 2 games...
Any Miami loss in their next two games...

And for all of you who were worried about Akron possibly derailing Ohio, I'll say it again for the 100th time, no one is gonna touch Ohio in the East. Ohio is a LOCK for Detroit.

BG wins 38-28. With Akron’s loss, a Miami loss to Buffalo Saturday secures the MAC East title for Ohio. Before the Bobcats take the field Tuesday vs CMU.

Go New York State Super-mega University or whatever the heck Buffalo is attempting to define themselves as.

Wow five MAC wins might get it done.

No doubt we will take care of business and will go into Detroit as a respectable 9-3 team.

Considering our struggles against Toledo up until this season it was kind of hard to believe they had lost 6 in a row to someone themselves. Then again NIU had arguably been the class of the MAC for most of that 6 years.

Crazy that in one season we broke losing streaks to BG and Toledo but had our winning streak snapped against Eastern Michigan. Can't say I saw that series of events coming back in August!
