Kant’s gimmick offense with the "snap and run the QB that can’t throw out the trash" is a clown show. It’s the only thing in their favor because it’s tough to prepare for an offense that isn’t really an offense.

It’s suck’s because the ESPN guys have no idea how these type of gimmicks seem to happen every year in a conference that has some of the best games, by far compared to predictable conferences where a bottom feeder loses as expected more than not.

This is a game being played in some goofy elements-on the road, with bad weather, mostly empty stadium, on a Tuesday night etc. Plus they were due for an underwhelming performance given how they have buzzsawed the competition lately.

In a warm, dry Ford Field they will be at their best.

In other news....I think I just saw MAC refs rule a Safety when it actually was one?!

Western is not invincible....have to control the LOS it looks like with them. Any given Saturday (or Friday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday...).

Franklin is a load in their backfield. Might see him on Sunday.

WMU wakes up to outscore KSU 37-7 after being behind 2 touchdowns. Agreed, WMU is not invincible but they just beat Kent at Kent by almost two touchdowns more than Ohio did.

ExCat, I agree with your thoughts about Toledo at Western. It will be a great game, and Toledo could pull off the upset. Toledo has the quality QB and running back to keep up on offense. My question is whether they have the defense to come up with the big stops needed to "sink the boat".

Definitely beatable, thought it will take us playing a very fine game.

The analysis certainly must center on how our units and players match
against WMU's opposite side of same. For example, WMU runs strong up the middle but the strength of our defense is up the middle.
