Frank's first MACC since the IPF was built. Does anyone think its going to make a difference for Ohio with the IPF to practice in?

Hadn't thought about that. If we beat WMU I can see that as being touted as a contributing factor.

It was one of the first things Solich mentioned in last night's press conference, so he obviously thinks it will make a difference:

“It’ll be great to get back there. Now that we have an indoor practice facility, I think that does make a difference in preparation for the game in Detroit. When we didn’t have an indoor facility, we practiced outside and then we went indoor and had guys cramping up. It is hard to condition and get your team ready to play indoors if you are practicing outside all week. Having an indoor facility will be a big advantage for us going in to the game and for Toledo and Western, whoever wins that game. It’ll be neat to get prepared to play indoors.”

The indoor facility has had a huge impact on our program. If nothing else, it was a step that got us up to at least the middle of the pack in the league from a facility standpoint. We are still behind a number of schools, but we are no longer the bottom feeder as far as facilities like we were when Frank arrived.
Amazing that we did as well as we did Franks first years before the up-grades began.

Betcha Fleck would be what he is with or without an IPF (don't know if they have one).

According to Wikipedia, after a decade on the job, Bear Bryant's record at Alabama in 1969 and 1970 was a combined 12-10-1, 5-8 in conference, good for 8th and 7th place finishes. From 1971-1979, under his direction, Alabama went 97-11, winning league titles 8 out of 9 years and 3 national championships.
