Was not granted a scholarship after spring practice and was buried on the depth chart so he pursued other interest.

Wow! I did not know that. So our backs we recruited were better than a B1G transfer?

Why hasn't Ball been switched to his HS position?

I had a friend who played college football. During winter workouts, the wrestling coach came through and stated the wrestling team was short a wrestler and "would one of you stud football players wrestle so we can avoid a forfeit?" A footballer stepped in and helped his alma mater.

My point is if we are short handed at running back, put an ad in the Post and invite a walk on. Twenty thousand students and I guarantee there is a former high school all county running back on campus that could learn 8-10 plays and with a decent O-line produce positive results. Any of you guys that played intramurals can recall some super athletes who just didn't want to dedicate their lives to organized sport as they had in HS.

Recall the football coach who let a different student on the kicking team each week. No reason to have no options and make your QB run every other non-passing play. Send in the shock troops!

I really, really really hope they do not ask you to pee in a cup when you show up for work tomorrow. Because if you think it's that easy! You are totally insulting all the work these guys put in everyday all year.
