5. Kent St
5. Miami

West:
1. WMU
2. NIU
2. Toledo
4. CMU
5. EMU
6. Ball St

He picked WMU to win the MAC Championship.

and buffalo. He pretty much missed totally in the East, but nailed the west, except reversing NIU and Toledo. Here's how others called it:

So we can all agree that pretty much everyone has no idea what will happen in the MAC East? 2016 has been weeeiiiirrrrdddd.

This is actually one of the worst seasons Steele has had picking conferences from what I can recall just from memory.

C-USA: He had SoMiss and Marshall as the division winners. That ain't happening.

PAC 12 South: I think he had Colorado near the bottom.

SEC East: this was just about as topsy turvy as the MAC East

AAC: Had Cincinnati and Houston winning their divisions
