I think we all need to get a giant thank you card to send to JoJo Natson for handing us our MAC East Championship.

I'm not surprised he dropped it. Akron simply can't beat Ohio even when the chance to is right in their hands - literally. Akron continues to find ways to fail vs Ohio. How many losses in a row is that now? 9? 10? I'm starting to lose count!

When he dropped that pass and laid on the turf for a while, I had a feeling he was just laying there because he knew he blew it. Wasn't there a Snickers commercial for that a while back?

On the replay it looked as though Toran Davis stripped or knocked the ball free as he ran past. Russ and Rob seemed to confirm this during the game.

Total drop, hit him in the chest, Davis hand came across his back, not touching his arm or the ball.

From my view and memory of watching it live from about the 23 yard line on the same side of the field it looked like the ball floated high in the air a bit long, was a drop at the start and Davis helped assure there was no bobbled catch or recovery. I'd like to see a replay. I watch the line of scrimmage to start the play and make progressions back, so sometimes I will miss things downfield.

Most times the receiver will make that catch. Plays were there to be made for both teams. We made more than they did in final analysis.

Had a good angle from the southeast stands and saw what BillyTheCat saw. The pass was more or less perfect, converted wide receiver or not. DB was nearby and possibly disrupted Natson's vision, but the ball hit him squarely in the chest and bounced off. His leap was timed right. He coulda/shoulda caught it. Thought it was crazy when Aloese got an excessive celebration or taunting penalty when Ohio won it a play later b/c they damn near lost, but hey, a win's a win. Time to prove us naysayers wrong. We'd love to be.

I spoke with several players Especially Toran Davis. He almost BLEW IT his words. He took a step the other way and was BEAT he told me his only thoughts were oh no not again and dont panic get there. He did help Jojo not catch that ball by causing contact and face it the kid was 6 1/2 feet up in the air almost vertical.

There were other factors but that ball is caught 90% of the time by D1 Wide Receivers.

+1. That ball should have been caught. That's how close we were to !@#$ing miami in the title game. It would have been a shame too because the defense did their job all game.

Hard not to feel like lambs to the slaughter watching wmu right now.
