Does it really matter if they win the East? Western will name the score, at which point who gives a damn who won the East?

Bump. Keep calm, Ohio's going to Detroit.

Who's want to see the cats lose to Western by 40 on national TV?

our many problems notwithstanding, It's hard to envision a scenario where Western beats us by 40. If we can get the tiniest bit healthier, we can keep it respectable.

Yes, so far this season Monroe hasn't been able to add to his list of recent blowout losses. That mantra was so yesterday. New mantra is at least four losses in every season under Frank. Expect to see that one now over, and over and over again. I long for the days of the old mantra we all loved so much, no win over a MAC team with a winning record in 2.5 years. Remember that oldie but goodie? Monroe, as he will tell you, is a fact-based dude. As facts change, his mantras change. ;-)

The same people who wanted to see Iowa lose to Michigan by 40 on national TV.

Oh, wait....

We barely beat some of the softest (BG,Kent,Buff) teams in the East this year. What makes you think we wouldn't get thrashed by WMU if we make it to Detroit? They have pretty much dominated their opponents.

Ohio hasn't gotten thrashed by anyone this year (losses by 2, 9, 7 and 7), though perhaps it hasn't played anyone as good as Western Michigan. Maybe Tennessee is. The Vols are 7-3 and should easily finish 9-3. That's a pretty good SEC team that Ohio hung with.

You got me. You've definitively proven that Solich and staff are truly superior at this football.

Gosh, I sure do hope they don't get hired away from us next year by a 'power' school.

Because we've played to the level of our competition most every game. If the Bobcats were consistent, I might be with you...but they aren't.
