With Georgia and Duke both losing tonight Ohio moves into sole possession of second place in the country with 6 in a row.
Minnesota (7)
Ohio (6)
Air Force (5)
Northwestern (5)

Minnesota has to play Virginia Tech tomorrow at 7:30pm to keep its streak alive.

Also the only G5 team with 3-straight 10+ win seasons.

Then next year Ohio with a 7th consecutive bowl win would tie Marshall for the all time longest G5 streak. Currently Ohio is also 2nd all time on that one tied with Appalachia State.

I heard that Ohio beat Jax State...who beat (so-called) Liberty...who beat East Carolina...who beat NC State...who beat NIU...
WHO BEAT NOTRE DAME
Thus the Bobcats should still be in the running.

VT didn't show out last night so unfortunately Ohio is still stuck in second place for nations longest bowl winning streak.
Next year Ohio has the chance to make 7 wins in a row and tie the G5 record. Only 10 schools all time have won 7 or more bowls in a row before.
Florida State 11
USC 9
Utah 9
Alabama 8
Boston College 8
Minnesota 8
UCLA 8
Georgia Tech 7
Marshall 7
Syracuse 7
7 bowl wins in a row ties the G5 record. 8 bowl wins in a row sets a new record and would be 10 overall bowls for Ohio.
