Was kind of surprised to learn that Indiana and Coach Wilson have decided to party ways. Sorry TOS, but Tom Allen, their DC, was immediately named the permanent replacements.

AD Glass describes a "difference in philosophies" as the key driver in decision.

More from the Indy Star here for those interested:

Am interested to see what else is revealed in this situation as time passes.

He was treating his players poorly from what I hear and read. Made guys practice with concussions was the one I saw.

My parents are big hoosier fans longtime season-ticket holders, it seems like there's a lot more to it than the treatment of players that has been reported on social media. Apparently it had all been addressed prior to his contract extension and now it's starting to come back up again.

Soooo, I'm pretty new to the forum... So please don't rag on me too much...

But what the heck does this acronym mean? Judging from the context, I'd guess it has to do with the firing of a coach.

TOS = Tim O'Shea. Former Ohio basketball coach seemingly always rumored to be leaving Ohio for other jobs, especially on the East Coast. It started out as a basketball post only, but it has migrated to football.

So anytime a new job opens up, TOS is the leading candidate.

FYI TOS is back in Athens in the COnvo this weekend Engineer. After years of having one foot toward the door he will be back with Bryant Hoops. Wonder if the missus will be back as well?
