I don't know to what extent cramps affected us in those games, but again, before last year's bowl game, we had the IPF, and the offense was still a complete no-show. App State was a good team, no doubt, but we need to find a way to move the ball.

I remember during those games everyone attacking Sonny Sano for all the cramps, and demanding that he get fired. I also remember someone on BA even suggesting the use pickle juice for preventing cramps. I don't recall anyone at the time suggesting that it might result from practicing outside and playing inside.

In any case, these days it is Dak Notestine in charge of conditioning for the football team, and this year they do have an IPF, so they practiced inside to prepare for playing inside. If there are no cramping issues we won't know if the reason is the change to Notestine, or the ability to practice inside, but it won't matter - whatever the reason, I'll be happy to see the cramping issues gone.

In either case, I totally agree that the offense needs to show up to win. I'm hoping that Ohio will have a healthy Windham, and that Brown and Irons will both be 100%, and perhaps Hardy, too, and I'm also hopeful that Mayne Williams will be back. Ohio is playing on 10 days rest, so that is a few extra days for recovery, and I'm hoping it pays off big time. If Maxwell struggles, I hope Windham can come in and give a spark, as he did against Toledo. I have this feeling, for some reason, that Windham is going to come in and play the game of his life.
+1 Here's hoping!

GO BOBCATS!!!!!

Though unlike with the Cubs NL pennant, I can't claim that I have had a potentially prophetic dream, but I do have this same feeling. I've been kind of day dreaming about this for the last few days.

[On my way to Detroit right now. My wife is driving the first half, which gets me a chance to catch up on BA. Having just gotten back from San Luis Obispo, California, I'm really racking up the miles recently, but anything in support of the Bobcats is a worthy endeavor.]
