Line has shifted a little bit in favor of the Cats, now -16.5.

Something tells me BCat2 and LC went over to Vegas and put a couple feelers out there about our boys and then bet the house, wife and kids on Ohio. Maybe they got a lift from Doc Bobcat in the Solich Soarer? ;)

Lets go Cats. Crazy stuff happens in college football all the time. All eyes on you for a couple hours until Washington and Colorado kick. Let's do this thang.

At the very least, maybe that means that some Ohio players that were questionable will play, or are at 100%. Give me Mayne Williams, Windham, and both Brown and Irons at 100%, please.

Go Bobcats! Make your dreams a reality.

Maybe they're getting a lot of MSU fans who have nowhere else to go.

Oh, that stings!

This is a tough one for me. I have two graduate degrees from Ohio, but I'm a basketball-first guy who owns a home in Kalamazoo and is married to a Bronco grad. I'm telling myself the outcome is win-win.

In order to have a chance we'll have to be +2 in TO margin, get points from the defense, and get a touchdown somewhere on special teams. Oh, and the D will have to play lights out from start to finish. Thats the only path to victory that I see here.

To the best of my knowledge, I've never lost a golf club. Had a strange dream last night. Was playing golf with good friends and I kept losing clubs. It seems like about every fourth of fifth shot, I'd reach in the bag for a club and it was gone. The harder we looked for them the further out of the fairway each subsequent shot was hit. It was one of those dreams where you just wake up frustrated and tired.

Western Michigan rarely if ever turns the ball over. Maybe tonight's the night they can't find their clubs.

Go Bobcats!

Well, Alan, I like your interpretation of your dream. Is there a Daniel or a Joseph in the house?

Sorry to hear that NCAA may be looking for some "Style Points" tonight in order to solidify WMU slot in the Cotton Bowl. Looks like NAVY is still in the picture for consideration.
Could get ugly for us, if that is the case.

I'm sorry, "In my opinion" some of the comments are disrespectful to the Coaches and the Players. In no way am I neglecting the fact that we are the HUGE underdogs here.....I'm just not going to jump on the bandwagon with the rest of America, Commentators, and Sports Writers and continuously down our boys as to what they CANNOT do. HECK we were the HUGE underdogs with Tennessee..... it doesn't matter who Tennessee has beaten, they expected them to murder us. WE LOST.....Heck we may lose tonight....but if you go back and read some of the comments, as realistic as they may be, there is no need to tear us down before the start of the dog fight. Hell, if they lose, there is still no reason to beat these guys up. I'm not saying EVERYBODY, but a hit dog will holler..... I want to win just like the rest of you, but again, in no way do I think these guys go out here with the mentality to lose. I'm SCREAMINGGGGGGGG.....GO BOBCATSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

The main issue is that the AAC is perceived as being superior to the MAC. The AAC has five teams with at least nine wins; the MAC has only two. The AAC didn't have a team with a losing OOC record; the MAC had five. AAC has five wins vs Top 25 teams (some were AAC teams); the MAC had just one, and that one gets an asterisk for the play that shouldn't have been. WMU didn't even play a Top 25 team. As I recall, the AAC was 4-0 vs the MAC this year, and had a better record vs 1A schools overall and against G5 schools. And there's been talk of including the AAC among the "P" schools. Given that WMU's average margin of victory against 1A teams this season was 23 points and they still are getting dissed by the committee, I'm not sure if WMU can get enough style points to ensure a NY6 bowl if Navy wins out.

Sometimes it's tough to play with the pressure of being "expected" to win. That pressure is on WMU. Ohio has the chance to play within themselves, relaxed and loose. I believe Ohio will come out solid. Clicking on offense and moving the ball with efficiency. How WMU responds will be telling.

Feeling good about our chances.

I have to say, I'm getting fired up!! (for whatever that's worth)

And I forgot, with my poor track record of predicting wins and losses this year, by predicting a 42-20 WMU victory, I might have sealed WMU's fate!

GO 'CATS!!!

It's pretty sad if you can't be happy that your team is in the championship game.

Alan, fascinating dream and Ohio Cat Fan--interesting Biblical interpretation. Hopefully, it means we don't get thrown down the well and sold off into football servitude.

It will be interesting to see if the ESPN crew picks up on game's most interesting story line. That being; "Old school" Coach Solich trying to end his career in blaze of glory juxtaposed to the up and coming millennial (PJ Fleck just one year old older than the official age range) shooting for the big time, probably Oregon.

It could be on those historic look back games studied by our grand kids where the story line is literally the changing of the guard. We shall see!
