Excellent! Now, if he can just keep from committing a stupid penalty in a key situation in the bowl game. ;-)

wow he made the first team. I wonder if if he will get a senior bowl or east-west shrine game invite.

PFF is a pretty good site. If I am not mistaken, Sunday Night Football shows the PFF position rankings for each of the starters as they introduce themselves.

I always love watching Blair Brown. He is aggressive and unfortunately some choose to define him for a few incidents over his career where he was penalized.

I salute him and look forward to watching him at the next level.

I think the LBs and Safeties have cleaned up their techniques. Hagan's recent big hit was lights out, but, totally legit. I am hoping they are now competing for best forced fumble or breakup totally legit.

Cris Collinsworth paid a couple of million dollars to become majority owner. PFF is headquartered in Cincy. Best football analysis there is.

Come on, I don't hate him. I just recognize that he sometimes doesn't use his brains. He's very athletic and often makes very good plays. But he has lost us games by his mindless actions. Minnesota game last year comes to mind.

He didn't lose us that game, the conservative playcalling and the dropped int lost us the game. We played not to lose instead of playing to win. It used to be Ben Carson or bust for me too, I had to give up the rush Limbaugh show.

I have no idea what you are talking about. However, in the first half, UofM had been stopped on a third down with a loss of yards by a brilliant defensive play and tackle by Brown. They were ready to bring in the punt team. Then Brown stands over the guy he tackled and taunts him. Out come the flags. Instead of 4th and long it's a first down fifteen yards down the field. The Gophers continue the drive and score. You tell me that without that penalty that OHIO doesn't have an excellent chance of winning the game. Your Carson-Limbaugh analogy is very strange and makes no sense at all. Let's can the politics!

I just wanted to share somethings that helped me out. The way that we view life comes from our influences. Brown did not cost us a victory, he did force a fumble this year that led to a victory. Now that people are saying, he is a potential pro, people are not happy. I hope he and Poling both make it to the league. Before this season, I thought Poling was the only one with a shot, now Brown has a shot. I am ecstatic for both of them. Poling got suspended for a half of a game where we lost and nobody brought it up a year later and blamed him for the loss. Let's wish Blair Brown well and use our brains to not let antagonizers rile us up.

Blair Brown is one of the coaches and players favorite athletes. He sets the tone on defense he is the motor.

One thing for sure, there are quite a few G-5 players listed here. Maybe a few too many, but it's better than just P-5 players. I have to question Kareem Hunt as second team though, I can think of a few others that I would probably place above him, so we shall see how it turns out in the NFL in a year or two.

W
Bobcats shut him down. Hunt did go 20-200 vs Western Michigan when everyone was watching.

Pro football focus was just used as a source during the Cowboys game.

allen, did I say I wasn't happy at this selection? Did I say I didn't want Brown to do well in the NFL? You keep putting words in people's mouths. I simply pointed out that he has had a propensity for sometimes doing stupid things that cause stupid penalties. As he matures I'm sure he'll get that under control. He's a very good player and has excellent athletic ability. I wish him well in his future endeavors! ;-)

I will say this - having been named first team all American by a credible source, he for sure better be getting a combine invitation.

Blair Brown is now the 14th Ranked Inside Backer with it also showing his stock going UP. Looks like he has completely leap frogged Poling. I rewatched some games yesterday and looked solely at him he is a BEAST. Someone will get him on their Special teams I'm sure or better.
