If Ohio puts the work and effort (and if Windham is the starter from the get-go) into this game like it did in the MACC, it can win. I have to think Troy is the early favorite to win but Ohio can win it.

GO BOBCATS!!!

I want payback for the drumming Troy gave us in the R&L Carrier Bowl.

Went to that one and got really, really, really, wasted during and after the game for therapy. One of the last things I remember was outside of the stadium after the game buying shots from a dude selling shots out of a cooler for $2.00 or $3.00. I had several "Absolute" shots.

Fun times!!!

They are going to have something approaching a full home field advantage. They were ranked a few weeks ago. I think we are gong to be a 5-7 point underdog.

They beat Texas State 40-7, we gave up 56 to Texas State. By any logic you are use it could be a long night. They only lost to Clemson 30-24.

I cannot wait to see what is inside the swag bag from Dollar General. Nobody can ever enough off-brand potato chips and Mylar balloons.

I'll bet the loss to TxSt is a huge topic on their boards.

Well, Toledo probably saw that too.

They lost to Arkansas State 35-3, who lost to Toledo 31-10.

Statistically, it's a pretty good matchup. Running games and defenses are similar. They throw better than we do, but we are probably the 2nd or 3rd best defense they've faced this year.

I'm not sure why so many are ready to throw in the towel on this one already.

Most of us are throwing in the towel waiting to see what kind of offense we run next year

I saw the beating they put on Texas State, but we don't have the same team that we had on day 1 against Texas State. If we had to play Texas state again, we would win. I think we can get this win...

That may be the funniest post I've read this year. Dollar General store one or two steps below Wal Mart.

Every small town in America has a Dollar General. For those from Dayton and points East...Londonderry on 50 has a Dollar General.

I think that if we had played them the week before of the week after or in the summer that we would have probably beaten them. But the loss is on OUr resume. We own it.

The town in Ohio's Great Northwest where my elementary/junior high/high school is located (population 1,153) has a Dollar General. Some of the locals fought the zoning for it because they thought it would take business away from the hometown stores.

Actually, if you shop DG often, you know that $7 dog food is the huge seller. I wonder how many of those 16 pound bags (with 10 percent bonus, of course) will be lugged back to Athens.

So much hate for Dollar General. Strange. Is it because Dollar General serves poor areas? Offers market-leading prices on merchandise? Is frequented by lower-middle class and poor-class shoppers?

Kind of feels like Oxford, Ohio in here...

Their girl scout cookie knock-offs aren't too bad. You'd almost think they were Tag-a-longs.

I do often wonder how our local DG doesn't get robbed...they have the cashiers stocking shelves when there's no customers in line and leaving register completely unwatched. They wait until there's 2-3 people in line, so you're either the 1st in line and waiting for the cashier to finish restocking their 1/10th mil DG trash bags or you're at the end of the long line once said cashier decides she should return to cash register. Sometimes, I drive the extra mile to Kroger just assuming it'll be faster.

I view Dollar General as just a modern day equivalent to the old five and dime stores. Add a hundred years of inflation, and $.05 in 1916 is worth $1.11 today.

stAte wasn't the same team as they were at beginning of the year...started out 0-5, They also lost to FCS Central Arkansas then went on a 6 game win streak.

At the same time, Troy had their worst preformance of the year...Turned the ball over atleast 3 times...Dont expect that Troy to show up again. If it does you will win

I could say the same thing about Ohio...You lost to Texas State who is 2-10 to end the season who we were breating 30-0 at halftime
