Does anyone know what type crowd we are expected to bring? Since most of our lame-ass alums are still aglow from the osu win last week, I wonder if even half of these sheeple even know we are in a title game.

I've been to one bowl and one MAC title game (NIU) at Ford field and we were embarrassingly outnumbered both times. It's going to be ugly crowd-wise.

We're absolutely going to be outnumbered. With the game being in Michigan, playing a team from Michigan, that was always a sure thing.

However, I think Ohio has a strong turnout. WMU currently is about as high-profile of an opponent as you can get in the MACC and I think that helps build interest on our side. Plus, we haven't played in the MACC in a couple years. Seems to be a good amount of buzz on social media about the game/trip from OUr side.

Estimating based on Ohio filling about 5 reserved lower level sections and the rest being WMU fans, Im guessing the numbers will be around 5,000 Ohio fans to 32,000+ WMU fans. Personally, I think that will be a great football atmosphere even though we're the overwhelming minority.

I'm just basing on numbers on reports that WMU sold out their allocation, sold out the end zone General admissions and then bought the corner reserve seats (end zone to 20 yard line)on Ohio sideline and that the upper 300 seats are now being sold (which hasn't happened before for the MACC at Ford Field) Ohio fans will be just mostly delegated to sections between 20 yard lines on South side, everywhere else is WMU fans. Hopefully they don't have too much fun

FWIW, this guy reporting a crowd of 47K. If true, could be a road game.

Pride will not allow me to pick against the Bobcats in a championship game, no matter what an objective analysis says.

Ohio 29, WMU 28. Zervos makes 5 FGs, including the game winner as time expires.

With everything to gain and nothing to lose I like Ohio's chances of bringing their A-game.

31-28 good guys. But one of those touchdowns might have to come from something other than offense.

Ohio keeps it close in first half, WMU wins going away 45-17. This will be the final game Tim Albin coaches at Ohio. I'm skipping the trip to Detroit for the 1st time ever and don't feel bad about it. I'm tired of watching this show in its 8th year in syndication.

Pretty awesome. They're bringing about twice as many fans as attend their home games. All the more pressure on them. Hope they come out playing tight.

WOWWW, Some of the negative post on this thread are unreal..... Clearly everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to just downright disrespect these young men is disgusting. Win or Lose....GO BOBCATS....You played and earned the right to be here.....REGARDLESS of the outcome. I'm rooting for you fellas......

Not at all surprised by record ticket sales. I'd imagine Detroit-area is where bulk of WMU students come from and where bulk of alum base is located. Undefeated & ranked with a charismatic coach? Too easy. Gonna be a great atmosphere.

Observing that the opponent is objectively superior in most categories is not disrespectful to our players. It's realistic. I'll be watching and pulling for the team, but we're multiple touchdown underdogs for a reason.

Agreed. I also keep thinking that with all the unlikely things that have happened this year, there could be one more out there tonight. Go Cats!!!

That is a very unfair statement. I think that EVERYONE here respects and appreciates our players.

That is 99.99% distinct from evaluating the program's performance.

That type of thinking is basically a full-on attack against those who criticize in any manner.

You are better than that. We are almost all better than that.

Line has shifted a little bit in favor of the Cats, now -16.5.

Something tells me BCat2 and LC went over to Vegas and put a couple feelers out there about our boys and then bet the house, wife and kids on Ohio. Maybe they got a lift from Doc Bobcat in the Solich Soarer? ;)

Lets go Cats. Crazy stuff happens in college football all the time. All eyes on you for a couple hours until Washington and Colorado kick. Let's do this thang.

I like your positive thinking. This is the year for strange things to happen in the sports world, and I'd be really happy for yet another. Frank is very good at game planning for the big games. I suspect that this game plan will be on par with those he came up with for Penn State and some of those big Temple games. Doesn't, of course, guaranty a win, but it does give us reasonable hope for an upset. My key to the game is stopping their running and forcing them to be one-dimensional and then having Brown, Polling, Basham & Co. in their backfield all day with mucho sacks.
