If Brad Ellis a starting corner back next year, than we will have a losing season. Stop with this craziness. Every other play somebody was running past him. He may be able to play safety, but starting no. I know he may be a southern Ohio guy, but this is getting to be ridiculous. He held up well against Davis, he got a tip drill interception that 95% of you guys could have got. He does not get a start forever certificate. If he, Kylan Nelson or Jaylen Fox is starting, we are in big trouble. This is insane, stop it.

allen has spoken. Ellis plays, Ohio has losing season. Playing Ellis is "insane." Surely what Ellis and his family will love to see on his namesake thread. Bobcatblitz pro Ellis, allen not so much. Me, with Bobcatblitz on this one.

I am just being honest. Can we stop trying to be mediocre? We needs much better corners, if Ellis can improve greatly and beat out the competition to play, then he should play. We should be trying to put the best cornerbacks on the field, not play guys that we are emotionally attached to. He missed a lot of tackles and a lot of people got behind him. We can't afford to have that same thing occur next year. He was our fourth string corner going into the year and he was forced to play because we had three corners leave and 4 or five get injured. Thank God we had the pass rush that we had, things could have got a lot more crazier. Brad Ellis stepped up and looked ok at times. He filled the gap, but he is not a start forever guy.

Mr. Ellis, not to worry, allen had this same opinion of Toran Davis last year. So, consider the source.

Was Toran Davis All MAC? He played much better than last year, but he still took bad angles and missed tackles. If we had viable cornerbacks and an open competition, Hagan and Mayne Williams would have been the starters. You have to be real in giving assessments, you can't just make the comfortable decision all the time.

allen. As much as you seem to know better than the coaches, you really need to stop wasting your infinite wisdom and challenge yourself. Certainly you could be winning championships with a team somewhere. You really need to take the challenge yourself. Surely Monroe would be a reference. Really.

I do it in the business world. I would love to do it in the sports world as well. I wish I could be a college coach or an NFL gm, but I am not. I live my sports world through sites like this where I visualize the best for the teams I love. I am guilty. I love the Bobcats and I can't keep quiet about them possibly winning championships. I am guilty, but I am not emotional I am looking through a clear lense.

Why argue with Bcat2? You can see that most now ignore him or her.

He or she has a view of the world and wouldn't change it even if presented with absolute, incontrovertible contrary evidence.

Sad.

Enabler of mediocrity.

How mediocre does one have to be to be a head coach in MAC and not have won a single title in 12 years?

everything the coaches know, say or do is perfect and any thought contrary to that simply cannot be.

Monroe, bcat is a "he" so you can save yourself from your ambiguous gender identification when writing about him. I can also tell you that he is not related to Solich in any way and is not on the OHIO payroll. So, I've solved just a little of your mystery.

Too busy covering the player's "six." Back at you with a "military" expression.

WikiBALeaks here . . . and just like with Julian Assange none of my information came from the Russians or any other state player. It was more of an "inside job," if you will. ;-)

That reminded me of the old Car & Driver mythical racing team, Bolus and Snopes with the donkey for the mascot. (An eclectic aside for the gearheads on B/A who may also remember Brock Yates.) How's that for a tectonic thread drift, swabbie?

I guess you know more than Ellis's Coaches AND his teammates who said the kid is a BALLER. Several of them mentioned that several oppents were frustrated that they couldnt just regularly run past him at Corner.

From the guy who told us Maxwell was Big Ben. I don't know if I believe in your insides sources. Look at the Akron vs Ohio video. If Akron had a real QB, he would have given up four td's. Let's stop and be rational. Ellis has heart, but if he is starting for us next year, we are in trouble.

Right, we got it before. "If Brad Ellis a starting corner back next year, than we will have a losing season." Playing Ellis is "insanity."
