Look for the Bobcats to change the offense in 2017. Seriously, the insanity will end!
There is no way that someone could watch these games Saturday and today and not think that a few variations would be EASY to add to the offense.
Under Center Snap: I think it was Washington, when a wide receiver who may have been the back up QB goes in motion comes back and takes the snap under center and sneaks for a first down COLD. THERE IS NO MORE/LESS risk of a turnover going under center than shotgun FORGETABOUT IT. That play by someone other than the starting QB taking the snap at center in a GAME OF NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE PUTS AN END TO THE STUPIDITY that it may be dangerous for a two handed man to do what any PeeWee QB has done for 10 years. Get Popi the ball going full blast quickly OR don't--the defense can't be sure--so many misdirection opportunities with those under center snaps! You saw them on Saturday and Monday if you were tuned in and probably a few we didn't see that are easy play designs that add to the defenses need for preparing for many things.
Under Center Snap: How many different teams had three easy plays off it? 1. Quick hand-off to the guy in motion. 2. Hand off to the back. 3. Fake to either and dump it to one of the two--guaranteed 5 yards 4 out of 5 times. Then your bonus play for number 4 easy play was under center snap to the QB while the H-back came back over tackle and every wideout on the opposite side. Then snap and play action to the RB and the H-back simply steps out in the flats with a safety 10 yards away trying to get there for a tackle--auto 5 yards! I hope our coaches weren't visiting the President in Hawaii and instead were watching what teams that excite their fans and win games do. Even Urban could take a look and add some variations.
These are not hard changes and will bring OHIO's offense a step CLOSER to entering the 21st century nearly two decades late.

I am going to have to delete your post and lock this thread for 1) its implied criticism of the current, since only positivity is allowed, and 2) everyone knows..it's accepted doctrine on this site...that it takes years and years and years to learn how to direct snap handoff without jeopardizing everything. Only trained professional should attempt this without full safety and rescue measures in place.
