The interesting wrinkle in this is that several of the players identified in the recruiting violations ultimately wound up at other SEC schools. I read a piece this morning that indicated this could wind up impacting the entire conference. Apparently there is a bit of a gentleman's agreement in the SEC that everyone knows everyone bends the recruiting rules, but since everyone does it no one is going to complain and bring down the whole house of cards.

But if Ole Miss goes down, you might start to see the people behind the scenes start to name names at other SEC schools.

I'll believe it when I see it. But it makes for some interesting offseason drama.

Anytime a school rises that has no reason to rise up will unfortunately be scrutinized by the NCAA. That said, there was a lot of smoke coming out of Oxford, MS and everyone knew it. If anyone gets a chance, read this article that explains a lot about recruiting:

Not sure how many of these guys we got in Athens, but they definitely exist in the Power 5.

The best part of the whole thing was the whistle blower who said Ole Miss paid him and he didn't even commit to them. That's the 30 for 30 I want to see.
