Not one in twelve years.



Get into: worse record this year than last despite a slew of All-MAC talent, lost 3 of last 4 games to end the year, 0-4 MAC title games, 2-6 bowls (including losses in last 3).

In order to believe that this year's record was worse than last year, one has to believe that it is better to not win the East than it is to win the East, an odd position, if you ask me.

There are those who are saying that this is shaping up to be Frank's best recruiting class ever at OHIO. I even heard it termed, WMU-like. Perhaps, the old fart still knows a little bit about football.

I hope it's a great class.

But how this class will produce is only a prediction. Every year (and I imagine for every school), a class of recruits faces attrition from failing to qualify, injuries, behavior, etc.

Someone posted that this is likely a top four or five class in the MACC. That's okay but not great.

I wonder if so many juco's is a sight of strength (we just need to infill a few holes) or weakness (couldn't get it done with players who could play four years for us).

So, let's wait and see before we get overly excited....especially in light of the history (achieved) of the last 12 years.




Now, you blast me for being reasonable about this.

I'll accept the blasting if you can prove that I'm wrong about the achievement and the attrition--facts.
