I know there are a number of BA'rs who are fans of the 110.
I also know some current/past members post on the site.
If you don't know,2017 will be their 50th Anniversary.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to highlight their anniversary ?
A couple of my ideas:
1.Bring back the Drum Major,at least for Homecoming.
2.Play some of the songs from their first year.

A very great idea !!!
Back in the early days when the 110 started doing dance routines at halftime, they did one to Long Train Runnin' at one game that was absolutely perfect. That routine from years ago could be the anniversary halftime show this year.
Unfortunately, while the 110 has been wonderful in maintaining their great traditional songs throughout the years, they don't latch on to their most popular dance routines and replay them every few years. It's good to try new routines each year since you never know which ones will be hits, but they should also replay the great ones of the past, especially at homecoming. In recent years, the Party Rock Anthem and Gangman have been super hits with both Bobcat fans and the outside world. These traditional routines would be great to ply at the bowl games we go to. Since the 110 is well known for Party Rock Anthem, it would be good to play what we are known for when on the road.
I hate to say it, but tosu has it right on this one. They always do the Script Ohio when a big game at home, and at a bowl game. It's the traditional thing that their fans love. We should do the same with our traditional hit routines.
So we can do the traditional stuff to celebrate the 50th anniversary. The school could market the idea and bring more alums back to Athens than normal.
