Which is more likely to happen first?

I would like to see both. If we have the first pick and lose the MAC, our recruiting classes the following years will be spectacular. If forced to pick, I would rather see us have the number 1 draft pick because of what it would do for future recruiting.

I'll take the championship - that's a team thing.

Both will happen before you show an ounce of class.

You have every other day of the year to play with your strawmen. It's been a great couple of days for Tarell Basham and Blair Brown and a good couple of days for Ohio University and Ohio Football. Honestly, if you're to the point where you can't be happy, you need to step away.

Well said. I was excited that we had 2 guys drafted this year. Why the negativity continues every day of the year suggests someone who isn't proud of his alma mater regardless of what is accomplished. Congrats Tarell, Blair and Casey.

I propose a Monroe thread which can be a single discussion thread for all of the topics created by or related to Monroe. You can read or respond to the thread at your own risk and it would stop some of the repetitive complaint spamming in other threads which has admittedly gotten worse over time.

The problem, Monroe is that you are a 1-trick pony. Everything comes back to being a MAC champion. Those of us who have different definitions of success, in your opinion, don't have high enough expectations of the program.

The drafting of Basham and Brown should be celebrated and enjoyed. This is a great thing. Why diminish those achievements by spinning it into your constant, droning message about how poor our program is because we've never won a MAC title in the Solich era? I can't wait to see Basham this year. I'm just disappointed that the Browns didn't draft him because I guarantee I would have gotten his jersey.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and take a look around, you could miss it.

No one is making this about you, except for you. No one is saying "Gee, the Ohio Football Team is perfect, the only problem is Monroe Slavin."

At what point do you recognize that your own persistence is killing this web site? When do you come to the realization that you made your point and can move along to other things? Instead, you continue to beat this dead horse and now you're threatening the quality of this entire message board.

Talk about a selfish, narcissistic, blowhard, whiny, crybaby mentality. Hold up the mirror, Monroe.

The moderators seemed to have decided the best way to manage Monroe is to just let him rattle, endlessly. The assumption being that even you will ultimately get bored with it and move on. Problem is, you don't work that way. You take some sort of pleasure out of punishing people with your endless opinion, and ALL must agree with you or else. Or else you'll continue to punish the community. It's like extortion.

When someone finally does challenge you, you run away from it. You spin. You trumpet "facts." Of course, your facts are subject to interpretation. But that interpretation requires some sort of open dialogue. You're too closed-minded for that. For you, 8-6 is worse than 8-5. That's the end of discussion. No need for counter points. Your mind is made up.

Fine. But then you post about it forevermore. In theory your point is to build consensus. But I don't think so. I think you enjoy playing the part of the lone wolf. The brilliant sage who no one would listen to, but ultimately was right all along (kind of the way you fancy the Knorr situation went down).

I think you're playing games with people. The problem is, it's becoming so boring and predictable that it is threatening the quality of this message board. I don't have a solution for that, but I can tell you it's a shame. You've been told this before by numerous posters. It always falls on deaf ears, just as this message will.

If you want to inject interest into this site, then please come up with new material. If you don't have anything to say, then don't. Just my advise. I'm sure you'll ignore it.
