This year they haven't put out a spring roster, but they have been adding players and deleting them from the roster. These changes are hidden by the fact that they haven't removed last year's Seniors yet, nor updated the player classes. I hadn't run through the roster in a long time, and I had some time today, so I did it. Here are the deletions I found:

Three were related to a certain incident from early this year:
James Ready, Desmond Noel, Kyle Belack

Two players announced that they were transferring:
Jarid Brown, Maxwell Howell

Three scholarship players seem to be gone:

Corey Quallen https://twitter.com/CQuallen

And some walkons are also gone:
Daniel A'Hara CB, Jordan Thomas DL, Aiden O'Neill K, Erik Stein LB, Matt Yoho TE, Zach Hawk TE

There are also new walkons, but since it's been awhile since I did this, I'm not sure how long they have been around. David Burroughs isn't even on the roster yet, though.

They really don't want us meddling and deciphering their roster.
When it is time they will reveal what they are comfortable sharing with us.

Anyone expect a two deep at the end of Spring Practice??

we still have two schollies available based on the transfers, I wonder if we will get a late qualifier. Antonio Howard would be a great additions.

In the creeping update category, we have the position update articles that appear on Bobcat.com. I note that in the safety article, Jeff Christian is indeed listed at Safety, as is Kylan Nelson. Someone had said that Tupa was no longer practicing with the Safeties, and yes, he's not listed at Safety, however, he's also not listed in the Wide receiver article. Aha! He must be QB #6! (oh, wait, he wasn't listed in the QB article, either).

Two incoming athletes also seem to be missing, at least from the positions where I expected to find them. KJ Minter, I had thought, was to be a wide receiver, but he's not listed with the other incoming wide receivers. Floyd, I had thought, was to be a Safety, but he's not there.

IIRC, there was a comment made at the signing day press conference that we had two commits that hadn't qualified yet academically. I wonder if these are the two.

No, but the press releases list players now here, and players arriving in the fall. They aren't listed. That could mean a lot of things, among them:
1. It's an oversight in the press release
2. They didn't qualify
3. They will be at a different position

I tend towards explanation #1 because blaming the media for information you don't like is popular these days.
