I just watched the spring practice video for 3/22 and Quinton Maxwell said there are 4 guys at QB there now and that 2 are going to be there by summer. I know of 5 QB's but does anyone know who the 6th guy is he's talking about?

In for spring:
1. Maxwell
2. Rourke (JUCO signee)
3. Duckworth
4. Haber

In for summer:
5. Keszei (signee)
6. ???

I thought I was the only one who hangs on every word Ohio Football related. I was also surprised to hear the "two more QB's coming in this summer" line.

Yeah, we he said it I had to look at the roster and signing list. Sounds like another QB is headed to Ohio. The big question is who?

Really? We need another thread on this? These weren't good enough?

... and I'm sure that these haven't been all of them.
(Note that I'm not saying Zaire is necessarily coming, just that we have had endless speculation on who else might be coming to play QB).

Best part was about three minutes in #86 Morgan looking very fluid for 6'6" 260 up field with a nice catch.

It's probably just a preferred walk-on.

And I heard on the radio a couple of weeks ago that Wisconsin has named its starting quarterback for the fall - not that that totally rules out Zaire choosing Wisconsin.

We get Him because no one else wants him, and hasn't wanted him from day one. Interesting watching this saga play out. UNC scratched him long ago, he was interested in them much more so than the other way around.

I do not see the excitement because it makes no difference how talented a guy is if the play calling continues to be putrid. The difference between Ohio and the bigger programs is largely better coaching at those schools.

It's not basketball where one 6'10" agile center can completely change the complexion of a team. A FBS QB transfers down to a bad FCS school which has nobody then maybe it makes a difference. I just wouldn't expect too much here is all I am saying.

A few weeks ago you said he was too good to come here and that I was selling wolf tickets, now nobody wants him. You need to adjust your strategy my friend, whoever you latched onto will have to wait another year.
By the way, the Steelers are interested in Basham at the linebacker spot, so much for your best friend being his agent and wanting him to only go to a club where he will put his hand in the dirt. Using deductive knowledge, if an agent only wanted him to play one position, why would the agent let him perform linebacker drills. Your credibility is shot. Zaire is the most talented QB to commit here, period.

I'm in favor of playing six qb's in one set.

If the two running back set makes sense, it only follows that six-qb sets are the way to go.

Zaire by far would be the most talent QB Ohio has seen if he comes. Not even close.

There is no way we will have 6 QB's on the roster for this fall.
No more than 5, and possibly only 4.

Is Keszei still on board?

Signed LOI 7:18 a.m. on signing day. What would be his other/better options?

Frank said at the caravan last night that Quinton Poling is looking good at qb and they expect great things out of him. There's your number 6.
