For anyone who may not not know,there was an issue this week with the Met's mascot giving the middle finger (hard to do when you only have four fingers,but I digress) to a group of fans.

There's an article in the sports section of today'a The Record entitled "Mr.Met just the latest mischievous mascot"

Most of the references are to mascots of pro teams.

But there's a paragraph about the Rufus/Brutus incident.

I can't get the article to link.

But if you go to http://www.northjersey.com scroll down and click on the "digital edition" icon you can pull up the paper.
