Haven't seen anything about Brown or Sayles.

What struck me about this article was Basham admitting he didn't work as hard on fundamentals/technique in college (or that coaches didn't push that???)

Kind of surprised by that. Imagine how dominant he would've been had he been more technically sound?

NFL is certainly a wake-up call for those that have gotten by with pure talent. Everyone at that level is really, really good ... it's not like blowing past the Austin Peay, Buffalo or Garnder-Webb O-Line.

My take is that Coach Williams made Ohio's defensive line good via fantastic recruiting, while, earlier in the Solich era, Germano made it good with solid fundamentals, but struggled getting the players you want. For the next couple years we'll get players recruited by Williams, but coached by Germano, which may be the best of both worlds. After that, we'll see if they can recruit more good players, I guess.
