Do we have a list of students enrolled and on campus from the 2017 recruiting class? Always wonder if we encountered some non-standard or no shows for other reasons. Or is this too early for the frosh to report?

The following 2017 recruits are not listed in the student directory but most of them are probably due to those not being their formal names:
Tre Newton
KJ Minter - edit: there is a Kenneth Minter, which is the name of his father and probably his given name
Kaieem Caesar - edit: there is a Kai Ceaesar
Ayoola Ogun-Semore - edit: there is an Amos Ogun-Semore
Juan Watkins - edit: found as "Vonnie" Watkins
TJ Robinson

Yeah, and he probably is enrolled. It's just impossible to find him in the directory without knowing his actual first name. Same with Newton. Tre probably is a nickname. So for most likely everyone to be enrolled is very good news, but you never know what can happen in the next couple months leading up to the season.

I recall Tre Newton being a verbal, but I don't recall his name being among those mentioned at signing day. The only JUCO lineman I was expecting was Steven Hayes. It sounds like the entire class is enrolled then? That's awesome news, and a bit of a surprise, since we've have a few good players lost that way.

Yes, I was able to find every player as a registered student except for TJ Robinson because I don't know his actual given first name. His Twitter shows he is on campus, however.

As LC stated about Tre Newton, he didn't end up signing, so that was my mistake in looking for him, but it seems every player in the signing class is accounted for as enrolled.

In any case this is apparently two years in a row where everyone who signed actually enrolled, and that is a good trend.

It seems the coaches have taken fewer chances on guys who haven't quite made it academically the last couple years.

Or, maybe it's that they've been able to fill the classes with quality players, so there is less reason to be tempted by marginal qualifiers.
