Excellent.

From the Spring game Nelson worked exclusively at Safety. The Mottley twins ran with the 2's. Maybe Williams didn't participate in 11-on-11 but seems to be in the mix to start with Fox opposite Ellis.

How about Jaylen Morgan and London Miller?

Feeling pretty good about listed starters. Second level secure at RB, TE, LT, DE, elsewhere, not so sure.

Not feeling good. Not feeling that this program is likely to win a MACC or the mAC East this year.

Too many fine players lost after last season, too much uncertainty at receiver, qb, o-line.

Do we have a history of all the question marks turning out well?

Watched Morgan in individual drills. He ran with the 3's I believe. I remember seeing Miller come out to practice but he didn't seem to be part of the rotation. No clue though if he was limited. I was trying to watch as many position groups as I could and answer 300 questions from my nine year old.

I am optimistic about Maxwell or Rourke. And with a healthy backfield we will be tough in the run game with some linemen back. And if our QB's have time we've got some exciting young guys like Ball, Odom, Meyer and Harris to go with Cope and Papi.

I also thought they both looked good this spring. Despite the losses on offense and defense, I still think we will be better on both sides of the ball this year.

...and a depth chart magically appears where I said it would:
http://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/depth-c...

How accurate is it? Where do they get their information? These are questions I can only speculate on. My guesses are that they get it from Arkley, and that it is probably reasonably accurate. There are a lot of small surprises on that depth chart, but none that would be astonishing, if correct.

That looks pretty accurate thanks for posting. My only real question there is Kylan Nelson at corner not safety.

The only surprise for me was not seeing Eric Popp at WLB. As much as they played him this spring I thought he would be 2nd string. I see the walk on Nick Sink made second string! Good for him!

Well, you called in on Sink being impressive in the Spring. Good job. As for the overall accuracy, since we don't know where they got the data, we don't know if it is dead on, kind of close, or way off. Come game time we will learn which is closer, that roster, or the one on page 1 of this thread.

On a related topic, I got a PM pointing out that there are some serious issues with the Roster currently available at OhioBobcats.com. I only looked at offensive line, but either the roster is wrong, or 8 offensive line are missing, including 3 starters. The following are not listed on the roster (at the moment):
Pruehs
McCray
Wood
Grimes
Kuhar
Murdock
Dudziak
Pleasants

My guess is that if I looked at other positions, I'd find lots of strange things, too. I did do a count, and the roster only shows 68 players and it probably should be about 85-90. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and let them take a few days to fix it before I check again.

You're right, those players you listed as well as the incoming freshman are missing.
I was impressed by Nick's toughness and drive, it stood out. Also heard good things about him.

Regardless of what string he ends up, I'm sure Popp will see some playing time at linebacker, but I really think people will be surprised by Conner this year. Explosive and instinctive. Future all MAC linebacker is my prediction. Odom and Tupa if he's healthy look good at WR. Not to mention Cherry, who has already sparked some excitement. The next few years should be good ones for Bobcat fans!

What makes me wonder is the absence of #60 Pleasants on the OL. I was confident he would be the #2 LT if not the #1 RT.

On the Ohio Bobcats.com roster the appears some changes that lead me to believe it is a work in progress. #11 Seth Myers now listed at LB. Anderson and Lowery listed at lighter weights.

The absence of Pleasants is disturbing. But maybe as someone else mentioned maybe he just got passed up. Kuhar should be a decent OT.

I also wonder about the Michigan grad transfer..Shalliman I think his name is...listed as a DE by some...LB by others...5 star FB in HS.

I have a vague memory that Pleasants was dinged up his senior year of high school with a leg injury (although google is not helping me confirm if my memory is correct). I wonder if that has something to do with his absence.

He had shoulder surgery this spring and was out for the spring. No idea his status now though.

All good news here.

We may need Sink if the injury bug hits...it usually does.

Conner looked real good on vids...will need him next year for sure.

WR is thin so a true freshman like Cherry could contribute...maybe even Cox...if we don't need him at RB.

Looks to me like it's just a case of players accidentally missing from the new format.
