Might as well get it started...

Ohio v Hampton...Does this sound more like a landmark Supreme Court case than a football matchup?

One last scrimmage tomorrow, and then we should get a depth chart by early next week, I would think.

Here are the Linebackers as far as I can tell.

1st Team: Sam- Chad Moore
Mike-Quentin Poling
Will-Evan Croutch

2nd Team: Sam- Dylan Conner
Mike-Cody Grilliot
Will-Cody Grilliot

3rd Team: Sam- Jacob Koons or Eric Popp
Mike-Austin Clack
Will-Marcus Brunson or Eric Popp

Hopefully Chad and Dylan stay healthy. I didn't see anyone else that looked like they would be very effective at the strong side backer position. I know they recruited TJ for that position, but I think he could use a year to develop and get better conditioned. My hope is that they could use a big safety to fill in if necessary, maybe Tyler Gullett?

Athens.

Edit: I mean, I'm not, I'm going to be pregaming for it on a beach in North Carolina, but most will be pregaming in Athens.

Russ & Rob from the beach with a beer? If so, you win the day!

Not to be too cocky but my expectation is a win.

That being said, what I want to see:

-good rhythm and success in the passing game. Hampton won't be the best gauge but it will be a good start to see who will emerge as QB 1. My guess is Maxwell but maybe not?

-no injuries! Too many key injuries could cost a couple of wins down the road

-get a glimpse to what will be the running back rotation/strategy

I think we will be able to move the ball and score enough to win by running a pretty vanilla offense. Look for more razzle dazzle against Purdue and Kansas. Looking forward to seeing a healthy #45 chew up some yardage and make up for lost time!

I cannot make a proper assessment until I understand where the Fake Jeff McKinney stands on this titanic struggle.

I realize he's basketball focused but one time?
