Is it believed that his death was related to a brain injury?

Mitch has had long term problem with opoids. He just could not clean himself after many attempts. According to sources this problem was iniated with the use of of pain medication for his shoulder problems.
Everyone gets a little hesitant to use pain meds following all type athletic injuries.

Is this our second death this offseason related to opiod addiction? I hope the players receive counseling on this when they suffer injuries and are prescribed pain killers. This is really, really scary.
