Ah yes, the Woody-Bo lovefest . . . really did seem to calm the waters. Makes one think that even Monroe and Mid70s could sit down over a beer or two and become fast friends.

Just noticed this morning another "+1" post from Allen. Take those away and we'd find that Allen is just another run-of-the-mill poster with roughly 33% of his posts only containing the "+1".

And then, if you subtract the number of posts in which the poster has responded to himself, Monroe would drop out of the top 50.

Then subtract all posts that don't have ORIGINAL SUBSTANCE and he'd be relegated to the bottom 10.

Can we also consider adding the "Zaire to OU" posts to this list? I am a "run-of-the-mill" poster, but I've only been here for a year and only look at this board and the football recruiting board.

So my strategy to start moving up these boards is from now on to work on the recruiting pages. A place where I can usually score some sort of inside dope. Thanks BobcatAttack! I promise to no longer annoy folks about things outside of recruiting......then again beer is coming to Peden so that may impair my judgement......

Hmmmm...Just how accurate is that Top 40? I ask because I've observed that a person's post count doesn't increase with every post. E.G., on the infrequent days when I've posted more than once, especially more than once in the same thread, my post count doesn't budge. I expect that's the case for all of us BAers.

ah "Control" is kind of strong since some of those are merely tolerated not read or followed. BA is kind of what you want to make it. You want to talk about something just post it. Once done ....you don't really have to participate. Go back, take a seat and enjoy the popcorn.

To me the scary thing about seeing my name on top of those lists is that my posts are sometimes quite long. I'd hate to see a list based on word count.
