Now we are in game week # 1. If you look at the roster, they have updated about the first 16 or 17 players on the roster with regards to 2016 contributions, statistics, etc. This was done about two weeks ago. Zero updates since then. Click on Troy Mangen, for example. Chad Moore, nothing for 2016.

Am I just stupid to assume that in game week # 1, this should be updated ?

You think that's bad? Try going to the University's website, Ohio.edu, and check out the campus map. They haven't update the map for several years now. They still show the Wolfe St. apartments in existence, don't show the brand new dorms nor do they show Walter Fieldhouse! One would think a university would at least update their campus map so that parents, alumni, and others can find their way.

I've been in the same office here at the university for 22 years. It has always been 260, 5 years ago a guy came to fix a door on room 238. I'd never heard of it, looked at his map, it was 260 which now does not exist. Well, except above my door says 260. They rarely update anything, never double check or confer with one another.

This is probably the worst idea I've ever had, but everybody on this site is passionate about the university. Take your first issue on updates to the roster with 2016 contributions. Could that be outsourced to individuals willing to help (crowd-sourced is the term, right?). So, for example, I could take on a player from the team like Jalen Fox.

2016...Played in 13 games as a sophomore...recorded 29 tackles, 20 solo...broke up 5 passes in the secondary...had his 1st career sack against rival Miami on 10/01/2016

Didn't take more than five minutes to do one player. I'd happily take on five or six players to update the site.

As my favorite boss always said, Don't admire the problem, offer solutions.

I find the assertion that it's completely impossible to produce video, or game notes, or media guides, or rosters oddly amusing.

Yes Finn, exactly my point. It would take someone 30 minutes to do the whole roster. As a matter of fact, ALL OF THE INFOIRMATION is in the 2017 media guide. All they would need to do is copy and paste. Update each player's info.

But I do not want to download THE ENTIRE media guide. It would be great to just click on a name on the roster. It really is hard to believe we are talking about this baloney. So unacceptable it is sad.

Finally.... go BOBCATS, beat Hampton !!!

I just hope if they list OHIO grads who played in the NFL again this year that they add Vince Costello. I pointed out the error to them last year, and the response I got was almost a kill-the-messenger one. How in the world do you leave out probably your most successful NFL player and then act like it's no big deal when it's pointed out to you?

Funny/Not funny that I went to the site today to buy tickets for a game later in the year and my mouse went over the athletic department tab. The top item on the dropdown menu is "NCAA Eligability and Student-Athlete Success". No, I didn't misspell eligibility there, that's how it's spelled on the site. So much for the success part.
