"Being PJ Fleck" on ESPNU. Five minutes will make you puke. Wonder who sold Disney on that one.

I'd counter that with Undisputed on Fox Sports as being the worst sports show on TV.

Duck Dynasty, according to Rolling Stone magazine (can't say I disagree).

Pataskala, I only caught about 10 or 15 minutes of one episode. However, in that episode where Coach Fleck was taking his team to a children's hospital, motivating them about the importance of classes and life after football and pushing them (via drills) to be the best players they could be. What did I miss that made you want to puke?

I argue either for the Kardashians or the new LaVar Ball show coming to Facebook.....

The half hour they did on his high school and college years with his old buddies. The 20 minutes they spent on his camp philosophy and his love of avocado sandwiches. The fact that he doesn't do anything that most any other D1 coach does, including making trips to hospitals and trying to make players better human beings. I can't see what makes him so special that he deserves his own self-serving TV show.

Maybe it is because as one of (if not the youngest D1 coaches) he took Western Michigan out of the basement to national prominence in a pretty short period of time. He got top quality recruits that other MAC schools just couldn't get. In addition, he was so highly sought after that Minnesota thought they got a steal when they got him. There hasn't been this much excitement for Gopher football in a long time. Hence his own reality type show.

Didn't he also give his word to the school and his players that he wouldn't run out on them? That he was in it for the long haul?

10 posts in and I'm astonished that somehow two broke girls hasn't made an appearance. It may be one of the worst shows to ever make it past the first season. And then somehow shows like Freaks and Geeks get cancelled after one season.

2 Broke Girls, while a little cheesy, had some laughs and some heart. No, I'm convinced Dance Moms is the worst show on TV.

There's a girl on campus who used to be on that dreadful show.. I honestly have no idea who she is or what she looks like, but I remember a bunch of people at the College Book Store freaking out when she was in there

I second Dance Moms. Was anyone surprised she went to prison? I felt sorry for those kids.

Agree. Minnesota has to think out of the box to market themselves in a league where O$U, MSU, Michigan and Wisky are your competition. That's tough sledding.

All this FleckMania stuff is a joke though if they don't win games. Ultimately, that's where he'll be judged.

Mike Leach was a off-the-wall character and became a larger than life figure in Lubbock when he was coaching Texas Tech. That's what they needed trying to compete with UT, Oklahoma and Texas A&M. Difference is Leach won at Tech.

Kingsbury has all that "cool" factor ... but he ain't winning. That's a problem.

If Fleck wins, Minny looks like geniuses and so does Fleck. But if they go 5-7 for three years .... he becomes a footnote.

I'm with you - year one, Two Broke Girls was actually pretty funny. After that, they just kept recycling the same stuff.

worst sports shows: Undisputed, First Take, and whichever show Bomani Jones is on.

I like Bomani's radio show. I didn't like it at first because it replaced LeBatard's spot, but he's grown on me. They're both way better than Mike & Mike, who are nothing but an NFL infomercial.

Caught a few minutes of what I guess is the current episode-3?

Ohio and Frank got a few seconds of screen time.

Who is the producer of this show? The host is literally on the WMU campus and didn't bother to check or notice the name of the school? They've shown several clips of Fleck wearing gear that says WMU.

University of Western Michigan?

University of Northern Illinois?

I guess what should I expect from a conference that cannot keep an accurate count of how many teams it actually has.

Don't know if Fleck saw any cuts but if so and he didn't speak up that's crap.

Minnesota University didn't look too dominant against Buffalo.
