I just read the following paragraph and had to go back and read it again because it seemed beyond believable:

Kansas' road losing streak of 41 games, which doesn’t include three additional losses to Missouri at Arrowhead Stadium, is the second-longest in NCAA history. Western State, located in Gunnison, Colorado, lost 44 in a row on the road from 1926-36.

THAT IS INCREDIBLE!!! Can you imagine losing 41 consecutive road games?! I can't even begin to imagine it. And we're talking about a Power 5 team that also plays Group of 5 schools on the road, and yet this mega drought still continues? How is this even possible??? I know Kansas is beyond dreadful, and its fans have recently rushed the field to celebrate a win over an FCS team at home (true story, it actually happened), but my lord, 41 consecutive road losses?!?! Holy $hit....

That is amazing and makes me a little mortified of ending that streak. Didn't they go undefeated not all that long ago? Must've been 7+ years ago if this streak exists.

Yes, 2007, which seems both eons ago and like yesterday simultaneously. 11-0 heading into final game against Missouri. Jayhawks ranked No. 2 in the nation going in, and LSU lost day before, meaning with win KU would be No. 1 in country heading into conference championships. KU's comeback fell short. Tremendous season I will remember for life.

Was Mangino cheating or just beating up players?

The cheating would be complete news to me. Unless BillyTheCat is more keyed in on KU football than me, no. Stories of Mangino poking players in the chest, telling his players he'll send them back to the ghetto, bearcrawls on 110 degree turf fields. Guy was no-nonsense and probably (did) cross lines at times. But he won games and was team-first.

My brother played for Virginia Tech and lost to you guys in the Orange Bowl that year. He sprung a big block on the kick return touchdown, but Aqib Talib seemed to be a difference-maker that year.

Kansas was slapped with probation and loss of scholarships in football after a GA Coach was busted cheating for players by doing their school work for them to keep them eligible.

Jinxing only exist in superstitious, and Kansas being good, well that's just a lie.

Guys, at home or on the road that was a pretty bad team for P5/Big12. I can't believe they got 400+ yds on us? This defense must get a lot betteror it will be a long year!
