I spoke to his grandfather prior to the game. He was surprised that I knew Nathan was the back up QB.

Had a chance to play pickup basketball against Mr. Rourke (Nathan, not the grandfather) this summer.

Found him to be decent, polite and, I guess I would say, quietly competitive. And no slouch, he can play.

That he was into hot-weather hoops made me think about basketball's popularity in Toronto and NBAers with Ontario connections like S. Curry, Tristan Thompson and Kelly Olynyk.

He needs to perfect his slide. At Purdue he was exposed to some hard hit near the end of the play on his keepers.Need him to stay healthy.
