What a pathetic performance. Purdue is one of the worst teams in the Big Ten.

Another 7-5 season ahead..yippee. Sad to see that Burrow-Albin-Solich been together forever graphic. It is the reason we are 7-5 every year.

And WHEN WILL WE HAVE A REAL, MEANINGFUL, IMPACTFUL QUARTERBACK??????

We don't have to worry about Hagan leaving early. The lines have to get better. AJ is bigger, but looks a tad slower, maybe he is being patient and nothing is there. We have to throw the ball down field to open up the run. Let's go Cats

Embarrassing. I'm jumping on the Monroe bandwagon.

Relax everyone. One, this isn't Hampton. And two, the MACC isn't until December.

Used to be. They'll make a bowl game this year. Give them 2-3 years and they could be fighting for the Big Ten West

Purdue looks to be an interesting story with Brohm. Took WKU from an uninspired "DII" school to, what, 10-3 in CUSA? They ain't Ohio Tech, or even Wisky or UM, but they won't be a bottom dweller anymore. The conference still has Illinois, Indiana and added UNJ and MD.

No way. We beat either AKrowdy or EMU and land a spot in the Dumpster Fire Bowl.

Win or lose, this half will tell us much about the character of this team.

The db's need to tackle in practice. There is no wrapping going on. Hagan has missed about 4 tackles and everybody is struggling to get off blocks. We need to use tackling dummies or something. Go Cats, still all in

We did the same thing with Minnesota. Purdue will go 5-7. They barely rushed for 50 yards against Louisville and they are putting up 200 against us. We just need to get better.

Just an old fashioned beatdown. This is why you don't sleep walk through week one and play a team like Hampton. At least schedule someone that'll show where your holes are. How does this team bounce back next week against another P5 team who LOVES to throw the ball around the yard? Danger looms

They were also 40 yards away from sending that game vs #16 Louisville to OT. They could easily win 6-7 games this year.

Teams looks fine. They had no chance vs. a big 10 team on the road with these Refs.

He looks very good. It's a shame Rourke is going to see his career at Ohio come to an end when Burrow transfers to Ohio next season. Rourke should just transfer now to get a jump on learning his new school's offense. :/

Agree that the officiating has been bad, our defense looks pretty darn far from fine.

I thought the offensive line did a pretty good job of giving OUr QB's some pretty good looks down field most of the game.

It may be the Boilermakers didn't blitz much.

A conclusion is that the receivers couldn't get open or if they did the QB didn't find them. I don't know if the Purdue secondary has far superior talent to OHIO and can shut down our receivers OR that the construction of the routes do not confuse a defense and lead to blown coverages. Purdue had WIDE open receivers all night, was that because of innovative and confusing play design or DB's blowing assignments?

That corner of the end zone throw and catch ranks in the top 10 Bobcat all time greats for me; had it not been at a meaningless time, it may be top 3. Tight coverage, and dropped it in there and a beautiful toe drag and heal stomp for the 6!

Go Bobcats, Beat the Jayhawks

I still can't understand why the line was Purdue -2.5?
If we all just take a deep breath and be more realistic then we would feel better about this game. We really only had a slight chance to win. We would have needed help from Purdue i.e. turnovers to give us a chance and that did not happen.
Our boys need to regroup and a win next week against a weaker opponent than Purdue will right this ship and make us all feel much better about this season.
How will everyone feel about this game at the end of the season if we see Purdue's final record at 8-4 or 9-3?

Head up Boys
