Irma could easily visit Athens on Saturday. Oops
We're very likely getting remnants of Irma in Ohio mid to late week, so you could be right. And whether anyone likes it or not, that will have a big effect on numbers through the gate if it occurs on Saturday. We're not talking about light rain when it happens.
The latest has Irma at the NC/SC border by 8am Tuesday. I believe it should be gone by game time on Saturday but we'll see and Jose is right behind it but it looks like that one may stay farther east. I'm not really interested in sitting in the rain getting soaked for 3+ hours then driving home wet another 3 hours. However, as they say: "It doesn't rain in football, it rains on football." and regardless of the weather, I'll be hoarse from 3rd down agitated screaming by the end of the game but hopefully not wet.
