Purdue is absolutely DRILLING Mizzou, 21-0 early in the 2nd qtr. Perhaps Purdue was underestimated by many here?

Now 28-3 Purdue. I know I underestimated the Boilermakers.

The "it" new head coach in the Big 10 ain't PJ Fleck, it's Jeff Brohm.

I was at the Purdue Game. I really felt they were much better than I anticipated. What a difference a good coach makes.

It feels weird to type this.

Purdue is not terrible.

And in three years I think they'll be downright competitive in the Big Ten.

I don't think it's going to take 3 years.

I thought from the day I heard they hired Brohm that their future was going to be bright (was really hoping he would have ended up at UC but I knew they wouldn't have the same draw as a Big 10 school). His teams at WKU were always a tough out and he had a very strong run there with notching some wins over the lower rungs of the SEC and some good bowl wins. His blueprint for success is one that can and appears to be working so far for Purdue. Don't know if they will be able to hang with the big boys (especially in the East) but they will win some games and be in the mix for some of the Big 14's mid-range bowls most years. Will benefit greatly from being in the West division.

Could pull out an upset or two also against the Iowas, Michigan States etc. Will be interested to see how they do against Michigan this week. They've put up stronger numbers than the Wolverines and I would argue that their schedule has been fairly comparable so far competition wise.

Louisville = Florida
Ohio = Cincinnati
Missouri = Air Force
