I spoke to his grandfather prior to the game. He was surprised that I knew Nathan was the back up QB.

Had a chance to play pickup basketball against Mr. Rourke (Nathan, not the grandfather) this summer.

Found him to be decent, polite and, I guess I would say, quietly competitive. And no slouch, he can play.

That he was into hot-weather hoops made me think about basketball's popularity in Toronto and NBAers with Ontario connections like S. Curry, Tristan Thompson and Kelly Olynyk.
