I have been pretty close the last couple games, getting Ohio's score exactly right both times, and guessing the foe high by 4-5 points. I need to keep guessing till I miss badly - lol. I call it Ohio 34, U.Mass. 24

I think we have a big letdown emotionally, and we don't roll like we are capable of;

OHIO 24
UMass 17

I hope I'm wrong. If we play with the same intensity as last week, it could be:

OHIO 45
UMass 7

UMass gave Tennessee all it could handle and then some last Saturday, so UMass is not your run-of-the-mill 0-fer.

OHIO - 34
UMass - 31

I'm going totally opposite of last week and taking the under big time. I'm seeing a 17-7 grinder in our favor. So be on the lookout for a total shootout.

OHIO 31
UMASS 14

They are getting dialed in and today should be a good one to get final kinks out for MAC play. Fortunately it's a non-league game that doesn't get us whacked in the head today.

Otherwise, hoping to see good progressions grow on offense, and injury free.

I must admit I don't know all that much about college football and know next to nothing about UMass.

But I do know Bobcats win....let's call it 31-23

pretty sure the minutemen were trying to live up to their names - men who give up a point for every minute they play.

UMass played highly motivated for all 4 quarters. The refs gave UMass a ton of calls and 6/8 on fourth downs they played with nothing to lose. It should have been 58-28 instead of 58-50. A good film week game to analyze where the mental lapses in the secondary were.

I don't know if it was mental lapses or just personnel mismatches. It looked to me like UMass did just what Purdue did, in forcing the safeties to choose between helping on the mid-range routes to the TE or over the top to WRs. We seem thin at safety and nickel right now. I was hoping we'd see some more development from the younger guys, but that hasn't happened yet.

Sounds more like a basketball score!

One of those crazy games where there was just no defense for either team. I don't mind if the offense outscores this point total moving forward this year but I would be OK to not give up 50 points again this year!

How about the fact that Ohio won a defensive struggle at EMU where the offense didn't score a TD in regulation followed by a win at UMASS where it had to score over 50 points.

Before last Saturday had Ohio ever given up 50 pts and still won?

I recall that during the '68 season, Ohio surrendered 48 to Cincy and won. But 50?
