I had fun with this last week and my prediction of 38-31 was scary close, so I wanted to play again.

This week I think Ohio takes a stumble, and takes the L to a great EMU team that I think Toledo will compete with for the MAC-West. My score prediction is OU-20 EMU-27

I feel EMU will stumble after their high last week beating Rutgers. Ohio will keep Roback contained, and the Cats will run all over the Eagles.

Ohio - 38
EMU - 17

I'll move my prediction here from the EMU thread. I think it will be a tough, hard-fought game that could go either way. Unfortunately, in those games the team with the better defense usually wins, but I'm still going with Ohio 27, EMU 24

In the prediction thread, I have this as a loss. But, today, I'll say Ohio 20, EMU 19.

Vegas has it as EMU -2.5, over/under at 52.5, so they call it EMU 27.5, Ohio 25.

I'm just not with all those that say low scoring game here. I think we're going to work over EMUs defense. Can we get stops or will Roback just sit back there and pick our D apart again? Remember last year he did that when we couldn't move the ball a lick and still only put up 27 pts.

I think this game has a better chance of both teams finishing in the 40s as the 20s. If it finishes in the 20s, neither team is as good as I thought because I know our defense is worse and our offense is better than last year.

I'm going 37-31 Ohio.

EMU has improved and continues to get better, but Ohio is still the better team.

Ohio - 34
EMU - 27

A tough challenge on the road for the 'Cats. Hopefully, we start off strong, find our stride, and minimize any costly mistakes, especially early on in the game. Of all the games on our schedule, this one concerns me the most. We should be able to win this game, but the victory won't come without a fight. I think the game will go to three overtimes and that Ohio will win 57 to 55 after Eastern misses their mandatory two point conversion. The wear and tear of this game on this old man's body will leave me wondering whether I can actually make it through yet another Ohio Bobcat football season.
