WR is far and away my biggest concern...

Reminds me of Riley Dunlop from a few years back. Speedy, great hands and tough. If the ball is close to him he makes the catch. I am pleasantly surprised at his ability to step into the lineup/

Agreed! He has worked hard and it shows. Good body control on that catch over the middle!

Speaking of injuries.
I see Papi White's injury will keep him out 2-3 weeks.
Anyone know what it is ?

Russ said in the recap that it was a break. I would think a broken hand would cost him more than three weeks.

The Ball and a White injuries make this EMU game even more difficult. Big game. Who steps up this week. The WR depth will be tested.

Solich said 2-3 weeks after the game, but that does seem optimistic for a receiver with a broken hand.

Cope and Meyer were both really good against Kansas, which was big with Odom also missing most of the game.

Anything said about Moore and Grilliot status for EMU? They didn't play last week. With their injuries, Poling not fully healthy, and Papi out, it seems like the injuries are stacking up. Hopefully they can play this week. EMU is coming off the bye, so would like to match their healthiness.

Still waiting for Cope to live up to the All-MAC status one esteemed BA poster predicted for him 3 years ago.

So, OCF, are you sticking to your prediction from Cope's freshman season? That he will be an all-MAC receiver for Ohio?

As you know he's had some injuries. If he stays healthy, I think that's still possible.

I texted Papi and he told me he'll be back in no time but I don't know if he's just trying to be optimistic or what. Hopefully he's back soon though

I'm surprised that some true freshmen like Willie Cherry haven't been given a shot.
If Meyer and Cope stay healthy I'm sure they prefer refshirting. Maybe the freshmen were part of the depth comment by Coach Dixon.
