“I was messin’ with the wide receiver,” Ellis said, smiling. “I was like, ‘Bro, you gotta push off just to get a catch today.’ ”

“The quarterback had heard me, he turned and was like ‘Hey bro, shut the f--- up, you’re a walk-on!’ And I said, ‘You’re 0-for-4 throwing to a short, white walk-on.’ ”

No one will ever be Prime Time, except Prime Time.

Wowww, GREAT STORY, on Brad Ellis....not to mention well deserved. I wonder what that "humble pie" taste like for EMU's QB..... Never underestimate your opponent.

If he's going to talk !@#$ like that, he better keep backing it up. People who talk trash constantly usually have to eat their words at some point.

I dunno, looks like Roback threw for 2 TDs - and Ellis was his receiver on the "game changer" - it ain't braggin' if you back it up! I like it. This team has 2 key players who basically walked on. Sure looks like Frank's kind of team. I like it!

There are twelve walkons or former on the two-deep, plus Farakas and Zervos. I'd call five of them key, Farakas, Zervos, AJ, Ellis, and Moore. The others are backups, and all of them are important, and some of them will be key in time:
Sink - LG
Marhefka - WR
Knock - WR
Chuckwu - DE
Payne - DT
Clack - MLB
Grillot - WLB
Cunningham - SS
Gullett - FS

Ha-Ha!

Somehow all this smack talk has me worried. I just see Brad having a very bad day, as the passes keep going to his side, and he gets outmaneuvered by Massachusetts WRs. Hope, my fears are proven totally without foundation!
