The Eagles were just 5 of 18 on third down conversions (27.8 percent), and incredibly EMU did not pick up a third down (or fourth down) conversion in the second half or in either overtime. The Eagles were just 1 of 4 on third-and-short, and twice elected to throw instead of run the ball in those spots.

I don't think everyone realizes how very fortunate we are to have Jason Arkley covering Bobcat sports for us. His insightful comments and knowledge are a real plus for all of us in Bobcat nation. His statistical breakdown as well as his behind the scenes probing and history of Bobcat athletics is a tremendous asset for all of us. Thanks again Jason for all you do!
