We saw the same commercial run for hours on end.

The worst for me was the cat one. Keyboard cat is dead to me.

There was a pretty bad one that had aired during the UMass game when we played at Gillette back in '12 I want to say. I tuned it out thankfully but maybe some here remember?

The commercials are why I can't watch games on TV including our most recent promotional commercial.

God forbid we laugh about the small things we experience together!

I bought a Roku and watched it with some older alumni at my Elks Lodge in Circleville -we laughed about it together and I figurred others would also have given it thought.

When it comes to commercials you don't like, some say that you don't pick the commercial, the commercial picks you.

Whatever happened to that crappy low-def "always a bobcat" commercial--that was horrible. The Chevy ad only annoys me because it is on so much.

The video of the Florida Governor looking like a hostage asking for Red Cross money was rough yesterday.

Alan, please replace your black and white TV with A to D converter and buy a new HD TV with a remote and mute button! ;-)

I have all of those plus a Bose surround system. It's the lag time that drives me crazy in addition to the bubble headed bleach blonds in the commercials particularly when we get network TV from south of the Ohio River. That's why we love Netflix and Amazon Prime not to mention HBO and the like.

I just wish they had more than five spots that they use during breaks. The same Sling TV and Marines spots ran in every break. I starting muting them by halftime. And I'm really sick of the new World's Most Interesting Man. He's really boring. At least get more than one spot for each sponsor and rotate them. Sheesh.

Roku? That is a cutting edge Elks Lodge. Last time I was in an Elks Lodge was with my dad who has since passed away. It was early afternoon on a weekday...7 or 8 WWII era gentleman sipping beers at the bar, watching All My Children on the tube and flirting with a generously tipped, 30-something barmaid.

Ahh...my dad took us to the Moose Lodge on Tuesday nights for "Family Night", which consisted of free boiled hot dogs and a smorgasboard of fried foods, including French fries, fried cauliflower and onion rings. They had a "big screen" which was rare in that era. I remember watching Julio Franco get hit in the on-deck circle with a batting donut and Joe Tait calling Cavs games with Jim "they're doing it with defense, Joe" Chones on WUAB.

Haha! The Elks Lodge in Circleville is pretty unique. The Circleville Pumpkin Show is a big fundraiser for there and young people join to be able to have a place to sit around and drink. Definitely odd to have this many members under 30 at a fraternal organization in this day and age.

This might be the greatest thread strand on this board in many years. Nicely done, Bobcats.
