Saw a clear case of post-upset letdown last night. Ten days after Troy never trailed at LSU, they came home and never led against 1-4 SBama. In fact, they were shut out until late in the game. They committed four turnovers, including a fumble in their own end zone for a safety. (Unlike with us vs CMU, their four TOs were made by three different guys.) They may win out the rest of the season, but last night brought them back to earth with a huge thud. Probably showed up on some seismographs.

Troy should fire their coach. They have a nasty habit of turning in crappy losses to bad teams.

I actually stumbled across the LSU vs. Troy game on Television, and I was stunned out how Troy just pushed LSU's NFL sized lineman all over the place. It is hard to know whether this is because Troy is potentially that good or that LSU is just that bad. I guess that this upset means that the jury is still out on that question.
